Assistant Golf Course Superintendent - The Lodge of Four Seasons

The Assistant Superintendent will closely collaborate with the Superintendent to oversee all operations related to the golf course and facility grounds. Responsibilities encompass crew management, pesticide and fertilizer applications, delegation of job tasks, course setup, staff training, recruitment, moisture and irrigation management, as well as supervising the quality of work performed, tracking work hours. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and a sense of urgency to ensure the smooth functioning of the golf course facility. The Assistant Superintendent plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the golf course, working diligently to uphold superior standards in all aspects of ground maintenance and operations.

  • Certificate, 2-year, or 4-year degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience on a golf course preferred

  • Crew management and irrigation experience a plus

  • GCSAA Member

  • Supervisory experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • High sense of urgency with attention to detail
