/2024 June Meeting Recap
Branson Hills Golf Club and superintendent Lukas Phillips hosted the Ozark Turf Association for our June meeting, on June 11th. SiteOne was our meeting sponsor.
We had a great turnout with close to 50 attendees. Dr. Mike Richardson from the University of Arkansas presented an update on wetting agent research, that the OTA is cosponsoring with other GCSAA chapters with a GCSAA Chapter cooperative research grant. He also answered many wetting agent related questions of meeting attendees. Also speaking were two of Dr. Richardson’s grad students, Will Green who spoke on uses of drones on golf courses, and Sam Kreinberg who spoke on the new USGA GS3 ball technology. GCSAA members received .1 education points.
