OTA Families Enjoy a Fun Night at the Ballpark

Ozark Turf Association members and their families gathered for Family Fun Night at the Springfield Cardinals’ AA baseball game against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Kansas City Royals’ Double-A affiliate. For once, Royals fans had a chance to show their team spirit at the annual event, sponsored by Syngenta.

This year’s event was the best attended yet, with many families joining in with 38 tickets sold. The group enjoyed the Home Plate party deck, where they shared ballpark favorites including hot dogs, brats, chicken strips, nachos, popcorn, cookies, soft drinks, and beer. It was great to see so many kids making memories with face painting and chasing foul balls before heading back to school, while spouses had a chance to reconnect for the first time since the Christmas Party. After the Cardinals won the game, families enjoyed the traditional Friday night fireworks. Plans are already underway for next year.
