Harman Wins OTA Championship

Ronnie Harman, golf course superintendent at Silo Ridge and Country Club, won the 2026 Ozark Turf Association Championship with a 75 at Ledgestone Country Club on a blisteringly hot September day. The event was sponsored by GreensPro and Advanced Turf Solutions. 

In the championship flight, Brad Seidt finished second with an 81. Mark Wendler and Maron Towse each shot 83, with Wendler winning the scorecard playoff for third and Towse taking fourth-place money.

In the second flight, Kolby Armburster placed first with an 88, Mark Slaughter finished second with an 89, and Jordan Eyster took third after winning a scorecard playoff with a 93.

In the net division, Travis Thompson shot a 76 and won with a net 66. Conrad Pannkuk placed second with a net 75, while Jim Pyle took third in a scorecard playoff with a net 77.

Seven teams competed in the scramble, with two places awarded in each of two flights. ATS Team East won the first flight with Rob Ritchey, Andrew Mills, Mike Wilson, and Steve Moring. ATS Team West finished second with Austin Gearhart, Cody Gray, Ryan McInerney, and Joey Roberts. In the second flight winning teams were, Team Cardinals—the Springfield Cardinals grounds crew, with Derek Edwards, Nathan Strait, Brian Rainwater, and Gavin Burke. Team Eagle Creek, featuring Trevor Parsons, Conner Kiefer, and Tyler Rypka.

Winning the proximity closest to the pin prizes were as follows:

Hole # 5 sponsored by SiteOne was Travis Thompson.

Hole # 15 sponsored by Harrell’s was Brad Lackey.
